It's integration with my music software MPC Beats and VST's was flawless. For me, it was just "Plug And Play". I haven't even scratched the surface of the free Virtual Instruments and Music Software included with it. But I'm sure they are good too. Which is just icing on the cake for me. Bottom line, M-Audio did their homework! So they definitely deserve an A+ on this one. I'm more than happy I got it. This board is the new "King Of The Block"! Trust me.

J'étais très inquiets des évaluations et revues parlant d'un clavier trop bruyant ou pas assez représentatif. Mais tout au contraire, je le trouve très agréable à jouer. J'ai en même temps un piano droit acoustique Schimmel Wilhelm avec système silencieux d'une excellente qualité. Et bien, le clavier du m-audio me donne de très bonnes sensations de jeu et je ne suis pas perturbé quand je passe du piano au clavier m-audio (c'était ma plus grande crainte).
Au niveau bruit des touches, il n'en fait pas plus que mon piano quand il est en mode silencieux.
Les faders sont de bonne qualité et ont suffisamment de précision pour jouer sur les paramètres des instruments virtuels. La configurabilité des faders/boutons/pads est pratique: cela correspond parfaitement à mon besoin faisant de la musique orchestrale.
Les matériaux sont solides et la finition est agréable. L'aspect des touches de clavier est impeccable.
Je commence tout juste à m'en servir donc il faut voir à l'usage mais pour l'instant je suis ravi de cet achat.
MAJ 15 mois après achat: panne de l'écran nécessitant retour pour réparation alors que faiblement sollicité...

This keyboard is amazing, especially for the price - that was the case for the first month or 2, then some of the keys would randomly stick when letting go of the key

The keys are somewhat light so this is probably very playable even if you're not a pianist. I've played the piano all my life and to me this thing feels great! The action is inspiring, like a real instrument. I've recorded a few tracks on it already and the dynamics are exactly the way I would want them to be.
The build quality is great, keys faders and knobs feel good, but be warned, this thing is huge and weighs quite a lot compared to normal keyboards (without hammers). If you plan to move this thing a lot, that might be a problem. The casing is also quite tall, compared to a normal keyboard, which is very noticeable if you set it up on your desk. Doesn't bother me though.
The hammers are absolutely worth it. Playing with expression works great, it picks up on all the nuances as it should.
I use Ableton and it integrated seemlessly into the DAW, plug and play. I have yet to try out all the aftertouch stuff as I am new to synths, but as far as I can tell the amount of features plus the build quality you get for this price is totally fantastic. I'm very happy with this new addition to my bedroom studio. :)
