It's sound is truly awesome, such an incredible array of balanced sounds. I've played it with a whole range of mallets and friction sticks. I'm over the moon with it's massive power. I think Thomann needs to improve the sound clips for the gongs. They don't do any justice to this item. If your looking for a power house of a Tam Tam, don't hesitate to buy one! Great value for money and just as good as the major brands that we know. Going with the 40" wind gong next and will review.
