Ordered to place on my back wall, treating a first reflection point and bringing some life back into an otherwise quite heavily damped room.
Solid build, better finish than I expected... though a slight bit of damage on the edge of one of the fins/wells but it's small enough to not affect performance.
Mid - Treble has opened up and the left to right imaging is far wider now. The front edge of sounds in the panorama is more defined; smooth but tauter. The sound feels less in my face and stretches much further back.
Overall, for the price, a very solid little QRD. Plus its wood! (don't trust or like that EPS stuff) Odd design though, as far as I can tell its an 11 and a 13 glued together. Checked it out and the numbers work out and, more importantly, it sounds fantastic so whatever it's doing it works. I placed it in mirror image, with what I believe to be the 13s on the inside.
Oh, its quite heavy but not ridiculous. The mounting method is a piece of cake though, if you've got brick walls at least (can't comment on plaster/dry)
