Must have for recording drums!

If you're serious about recording drums, you really should invest in some good cymbals. I've been messing around with lower end cymbals for ages, and it wasn't until I got the AAXes that my recordings started to resemble what I've heard on records over the years.
Great bang for buck, sound phenomenal! You cant go wrong with these!

Bright, Crisp, Good Value? Look no further

Having spent hours listening to YouTube comparisons and samples of the AAX line and Zildjian A custom, the AAX were just crisp and precise with minimal overtones to my ear and that was the sound I wanted.
The quality of these cymbals is absolutely top notch, and good value for money. The crash cymbals in particular really cut through with their brightness.
If there is a weakness in the set, it’s the ride. As others have noted the bell is a bit weak, and according to Sabian website intentionally small. The design is to make the cymbal more crashable, but not the way I will use it personally.
I’ve added the 10” splash and planning for the ozone crash and aero splash soon.
If you are looking for a quality starter pack of cymbals to build from, you won’t find many better than this set!

Bright with the perfect touch of dark

Many cymbals in the bright category have overtones that make them sound brash in my opinion. Not these!! Sabian has added the perfect touch of darkness to keep all the good brightness while getting rid of those extra overtones. That makes these AAX cymbals absolutely perfect!! This set comes tone matched, so they sound absolutely incredible together
