Cuerpo de fibra de vidrio muy duradero con una forma aplanada-esférica única, sin la tradicional "garganta" de un Shekere de calabaza. Esta forma proporciona una mayor área de contacto de las cuentas, con el fin de acomodar el movimiento hacia arriba y hacia abajo que exclusivamente un Hi-Hat genera

Estuve un poco escéptico antes de comprarlo,pues leía algunos comentarios que decían que el chekere LP para hihat era demasiado “ruidoso” ,que tenía “demasiado” volumen,y no,para nada....es EXCELENTE,compagina MUY BIEN con mi set de percusión,pues yo lo toco en simultáneo con mis congas,clave y campana,además es precioso y robusto,estoy muy contento,100% recomendable.

This is a really nice instrument.
I bought it to play along side my congas for Rumba/Cuban folk music.
It is effective in what it is trying to do but is by no means an easy addition.
Playing a shekere in your hands is a piece of cake but getting used to the delay with a foot pedal takes quite some patience to master!
The other thing is, is that it's really loud! And as you have to work it with your foot (whilst seated) there's not a lot you can do about its proximity to your head.
I would say that it's a great product if you are really, really sure what you are going to use it for...
Otherwise it's an expensive whimsical purchase and will spend a fair amour of time in the box.

Dieses Percussion-Utensil von LP ist leider eine 100%ige Enttäuschung! Habe mich von den Videos, auf welchen Michael Spiro, der geistige Vater dieses Instrumentes, den Hihat-Shaker vorführt, blenden lassen. Was im Video noch interessant klang, entpuppt sich als etwas, das bestenfalls als Geräusch bezeichnet werden kann. Es gibt zwei Varianten: laut und durchdringend, oder durchdringend und laut. Die Klangfarbe verdient das Attribut penetrant. Hatte sehr gehofft, hier eine klangliche Bereicherung für's Congaspiel zu finden. Nu geht das Teil zurück und ich werde eine 14er Zultan Caz Hihat bestellen, mit welcher ich schon lange liebäugele. Und es gibt noch andere interessante Alternativen: zu meiner Millenium Glocke wird sich ein hölzener Bruder gesellen, mit weiterem Bassdrum-Pedal.

Eigentlich eine gute Idee, der Hihat-Shaker, aber LP hätte sich deutlich mehr Mühe geben können. Optisch naja, iss halt Fiberglas mit Plastikbommeln. Verarbeitung ist in Ordnung, aber was nützt die? Wer den Klang von gewachsener Kabassa mit Samennetz kennt, weiß, wovon ich rede. Ihr werdet besseres finden, als diese Fiberglassrassel.

Assez déçu par ce shekere, surtout au niveau du son : les immenses perles en plastique lui donnent un son assez horrible.
Obligé d'adapter un autre filet de shekere avec des graines naturelles et plus petites pour avoir enfin un joli son...
De plus la vis qui permet de visser le shekere sur le pied de charley n'est pas très costaud et déjà abimée...
Bref, attention si vous achetez ce matériel, et en plus pas évident du tout à jouer sur un pied de charley.
