I ordered these for my Harley Benton GuitarBass. They were actually about 2.5 inches too long being intended for a Bass VI with a tremolo bridge arrangement. However it was possible to make them work by reverse threading the two lowest strings through the tailpiece but even so a little of the thick winding of the low E string went round its tuning peg shaft. The sound is really excellent if you play jazz but I think they would work for other styles also. The .095" low E is vastly better than the .084" that my instrument came with.
I have subsequently managed to obtain some Labella HC6F flatwound strings for the Shecter Hellcat VI. These are identical to the 767-6Fs but are the perfect length for the Harley Benton Guitarbass. So I will use these from now on and keep the 767-6Fs in case of a breakage emergency.
I mounted these on my Squier bass VI.
String tension is appropriate and well balanced between all strings. As usual with La Bella, no complaints about sound and manufacturing quality
I got these to replace the almost unbelievably poor stock strings on a Squier Bass VI. These LaBellas made the bass a million times better! Great sounding strings and a perfect fit. Very easy to install on those tiny guitar style tuners. Like all LaBella flats they need a couple of hours to mellow out but after that they are pure butter.
Highly recommended for an old school Bass VI sound!
