Its a great product for beginners but if you want to play really high gain metal, then its not for you. When you gain as much as i do, you lose way more nuance then what you would on a amp made for metal. but for the price at is certanly not a bad pick everything else still sounds really great
After selling the old Mustang GT 40, we bought this new LT50.
Comparing the sound of both, the LT 50 is a way better regarding the sound due to 12 inch speaker and large cabinet.
The sounds of most effects is very natural, clear and and close to real tube amp.
It is fantastic tool for home playing and also for recording because of direct recording output.
The only disadvantage is lack of Bluetooth, loading of new sounds and "whole amps" to the memory slots is only possible through USB cable from windows laptop.
You can not use the Fender Tone app from your phone.
This amplifier would do most thing you need. I personally use it to practice, the sound is clear with only a tiny bit of noise. There are a range of effects available with up to 60 presets which you can change on your computer through USB.
I would definitely recommend it as a practice amp as it does the job pretty well. For gigs maybe not except if it's connected to the main system. If not, the sound might to be loud enough.
