The EXL's has been my favorite strings for electrics for about 30 years.
The 120+ is the almost perfect Strat string for me, because;
1. The tension makes bending just right, i can always bend up to any note I desire.
2. They can be downtuned to Eb without problem - I switch between E and Eb.
3. I like the sound and consistensy - and consistent they are!
Cons;
1. I wish the wrap at the ballends would be soldered or reinforced to avoid slipping - the G-string has a tendency to slip, so I solder them to stop that.
I wish that the E would be 046 and A 036 D 026 for a tighter rhythm sound, when you have to do a lot of rhythm work.
But so far they are the best set for my needs - highly recommended.
