Once again, my daughter showed me another broken plastic headphone jack?Throwing the old heaphones away seemed to be the easy option (the headphones were not that expensive), but then I discovered this "the sssnake 1021 Stereo Mini-jack plug . When I opened the plastic packaging I found a decent metal plug, easy to open with lugs relatively comfortable to solder. You need of course proper soldering equipment (keep in mind it is a mini plug- so size matters). There is also a transparent isolation plastic tube to protect the contacts. The biggest problem was actually the headphones cable with the very tiny (micro) wires. I also had to get rid of the isolating varnish on the wires. But now it works. So, this "the sssnake 1021 Stereo mini-jack plug" is a very useful replacement part in a very decent quality. Recommended. Not to forget, a very fast delivery by Thomann. Thanks.
