The trustful RME!
I bought exactly this version, not the PRO one as I don't need the extra features like EQ, display etc. I am using it along with my audio interface RME Digiface USB + Ferrofish 16AE converters for my outboards all connected via the ADAT and it's working flawlessly! Before I was using the DA converters from the Ferrofish and the RME ADI-2 FS is a HUGE step up! The bass is more dynamic, very tight and punchy and the highs which RME provides to the sound is amazing, loving the clarity! The stereo image is also much better. Can't complain whatsoever and the price is also great! Speedy delivery and as always Thomann ROCKS!

Pair it with a RME UCX II
I used this to add 2 more analog input channels to the Fireface UCX II, by connecting it via the AES/EBU digital input. They work together flawlessly. Other options like the Sonifex RB-ADDA2 or the Radio Design Labs HR-ADC1 are more expensive and frankly they are not better.
