Perfect sound for 88 bucks. I was quite surprised that this thing is even smaller than it looks on the picture but produces massive sound. This a perfect example of digital preamp done right - in a size of a micro pedal. The sound is dynamic, natural and more than usable for a variety of rock and metal subgenres, either live, for practice or studio recording.
I used this in a combination with maxon overdrive and matrix gt800fx poweramp and it completely slays
The biggest advantage the mooer has and in which it competes with much more pricey multieffect processors is that it provides one high quality emulation, straight forward controls, different settings for clean and gain channel, so dialing a tone is a no brainer. Most processors provide you up to 50 emulations with mediocre quality for 10 times the price, not mentioning that you have to study the settings in order to dial up a decent tone. The Mooer gives you one already superb tone, and thats all you need.
Go for it.
