I haven't seen many pedals like this, so to get one as good as this is awesome.
Not only do you get 18 different effects (9 on each side), you can tweak each and every one of them via the knobs (speed, control, rate, depth, type). You can also combine two effects at a time. So if you want to combine an octave effect with a chorus effect, knock yourself out.
You can also choose the direction, like an Octave effect going into a Chorus effect then out, or Octave+Chorus together then out.
So as a tool for finding experimental sounds, this is a really cool pedal. As an ambient/experimental guitarist, this pedal was a great find.
What also makes this pedal unique is how easy it is to use, most other multieffect/mod-pedals I've seen are neither convenient nor intuitive, but this one is super-easy to learn and use. To me, using knobs is much better than trying to navigate via a LED/digital-screen.
The sound is great, and the quality is good. I have nothing to complain about.
The usefulness of this pedal will depend on the sounds you are after, it is perhaps best suited for people like me who like to experiment with unique, unusual and weird sounds.
