Suverejne nejlepší ochranný povlak na klávesy (a to sem jich měl už hodně od ruznejch značek). Rozhodne nejlepší podle mne je právě tenhle Gator. Nejlepší volba podle mne. Tenhle povlak rozhodne nemá žádné mínusy, jen plusy. Rozhodně doporučuju.

This cover spreads black powder on your keys, and might even be bad for your health.

This cover is spreading dust itself. It's elastic, and underneath the cover its losing very fine black powder, dropping on the keys. I've seen this happen with old elastic fabric, but never with something so new.

The tag on the product says that according to Californian regulation, the product is carcinogenic. You'll understand I would never have bought this product if I had known in advance. Alas, I unpacked it rather late and it was too late to return with the fine returnpolicy that Thomann uses.

However, I strongly advice against buying this. I'm not sure if the dust it spreads is carcogenic too, but I'd rather not find out. And even if it's not, what good does a dustcover do that adds to the dust on your keys?

The fit is great and a bit adjustable, but I will never buy elastic material again. Oh, and I did test with half the keyboard covered for a week, to see if it was dust from the room going through the cover somehow. It wasn't: on the uncovered part there was just a bit of normal grey dust after a week, under the cover there was more of the fine black powder again.
I can't imagine it's good for your keys, nor your lungs.

Avoid this at all costs

Proposition 65 requires businesses to determine if they must provide a warning about significant exposure to listed chemicals.
Some furniture products may expose you to chemicals that are on the Proposition 65 list. These chemicals can cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.

These warnings are not shown in the description of this item. I regret buying this item, I think Thomann should look into this issue and atleast file a warning about these products before customers buy this. I've contacted them about this for them to just say that it's ok and it's just a necessary warning they put everywhere these days since our European laws are so strict. Ok... But there's a reason the warning and the law is a thing in the first place, isn't there?

Very disappointed...

I use this cover on my Kawai MP6. It is not a perfect fit, but usable. The material is stretchable and looks nice, but I am afraid it will not last long. I will revise this after some time. My real issue is that for this kind of money I expected more. Better material and more sophisticated design. Maybe I am too sensitive, since until now my wife made all the covers for me...
