the story: i play guitar, i play piano, i have some DAw .....but one day I ve found out, i need some real synthsound. So I was searching for THE RIGHT ONE, which will fits my needs. Minilogs, monologs, Arturia a bit fancy, some vintage damn expensive, ...and after a while I ve foud this one.
long story short: Initial thoughts: sound amazing as I can see on YT reviews :) thats exactly what I need .....so I ve ordered one. Then it came. Opened the box, plug it in and .....after some hours of study I ve found out , how to make some sounds, then after some more hours I ve found out, how to make even some interesting sounds.....now its 6 months, since I bought it and I can say that I can make it sound duophonic, I can replicate some great sounds, even some generative things as singing birds , or watter bubbles. I can also create some HUGE FAT sonds into my mixes.....and I ve dound out, that I m just scratching its surface.
So conclusion? I m sure, this one is a keeper, because even after 10 years of dayily use I will have something to be discovered. Even it looks cheap and easy to use, this thing is grat fun, for acceptable amount of money and you can be lost in soundsearch for hours and days. It realy great fun and really agile instrument. Greaat use with external sequencers as well as other synths of outher sound sources. I can just recommend this one
Only "con" is "close to originat" design, using sensitive sliders, which collects dust, so its good to use some contact spray to clean it time to time. Other then that , its a beast.....with long learning curve , when you know nothing about sythesis :)
