Everything just works
The activation was lengthy and rather complex due to new macOS security settings but if you follow the manual you should be fine. The sound is superb and everything just works. No hiccups when recording synths (using all four inputs) or a vocal. The build is sturdy, rotary button clicks and the whole thing looks sleek. I was deciding between this and UA apollo. Bought Zen Q because it has one more input and is bus powered, no power supply to forget when packing to gigs.
Physical power on/off button on the back would be nice, though. As far as I know, now you can just put the interface into standby mode (with display still on) or plug out the Thunderbolt cable.
