HESU Demon 12" 16 Ohms

Thank you Thomann for having this harder to find speaker in stock and ready to ship..! I live in the West Coast of Canada, and have never had an item from Europe shipped so fast to my home in 3 days. Incredible!! Hats off to their excellent customer service and super fast shipping.

The HESU Demon 12" 16 Ohm speaker is well worth the 5 stars. I ordered it for my Mesa 2 X 12 vertical cab. As the cab has 2 original Mesa UK Vintage 30's......I removed the upper V30 and replaced it with the HESU Demon speaker. I tested the speaker first in my 2 x 12 cab with my EVH 5150 III 6L6 Stealth 50 watt head.
Wow..!! I noticed immediately, the HESU speaker had more of a modern metal tone, tighter, and more articulate with a "touch" more sizzle (than the V30) where notes could be heard clearer. It's definitely NOT a muddy sounding speaker as I thought it might be and the mid's are slightly less scooped. However, it being paired with my Mesa vintage 30, an excellent match in my opinion.
If you are looking for a high quality speaker with a "slight" fuller and tighter tone across the frequency spectrum, from bottom end, mids to hi's, this is the speaker your looking for. Again, the perfect match with a V30. Tests were done using a Sure SM57 Mic, a KSR EROS boost pedal in front and my EVH 50 watt stealth channels 2 and 3. 2nd test was done using same mic and boost pedal and my Budda Alex Skolnick Preceptor signature 100 watt head on channel 3 with even more excellent results.

I'm anticipating buying another HESU Demon speaker to replace the other V30 in the cab. Or....buckle down and just buy the HESU 2 x 12 vertical cab as a second cab out of my amps.

Nach Jahren mit dem Vintage 30, der ja für fast alle der Standard in 2x12" und 4x12" Boxen ist, dachte ich ich müsste mal wieder was Neues ausprobieren. Mit dem HESU Demon bin ich fündig geworden. Wer auf die härtere Gangart steht wird hier sicher sehr glücklich werden. Den Sound zu beschreiben ist schwer und jeder empfindet das anders.
Der HESU ist für mich etwas klarer und weniger Mitten betont. Ein bissel die modernere V30 Version. Somit eine echte Alternative.
