A
Well made and great value -slightly thinner metal than the newer Fender neckplates
Anonymous 25.02.2014
This neck plate is great value and comes with the mounting screws too -which is very convenient. The plate is chrome covered brass and very well made with no rough edges. The plate is slightly thinner than some of the more modern Fender neckplates, which means it doesn't protrude as much and therefore makes upper fret playing very slightly easier. A downside of this is that if you over tighten the 4 neck screws you may distort the plate a little bit -as it could flex and bend a little bit under the excessive pressure.

Nice logo

Not much to say. Got it for my MIM Tele and it’s a nice plate. It’s what fender puts on their instruments and if that’s not enough I don’t know what is. Not much can go wrong with these. As pointed out by others it’s a tad thinner than the unmarked neck plates but only by a fraction of a millimeter.

Great add on for your Fender bass. Adds a bit of glitz to the neck plate. Exactly what I was looking for!!

A bit pricey but high quality

A bit on the pricey side in my opinion for what it is, but that's what you pay for having the F logo on the back of your instrument. Used it to put together a precision bass body with a jazz bass neck. High quality and looks good.
