NOT an easy decision

I am long time user and I have used these 4099 mic holders over the years on both violin and different size violas and they fail after few years.
The bottom part gets separated from the clicking joint.
DPA should change the design of these clips.
If they would be €10 I would not mind buying it every 2 years.

Use:
Very easy to mount on the instrument in a few seconds with one hand.
It will not scratch the instrument.
It does not change the sound of the instrument.

Another quality product from DPA. I love the sound and versatility of their 4099's and the fact there's a mount for nearly everything from Drums, Grand Piano to Guitars, Cello and Violin means I can use them on nearly everything!
