Just what I was looking for
I wanted a cymbal that isn't too loud, that has a complex, somewhat dry sound, while still retaining some of the shimmering qualities of a "regular" cymbal. This cymbal does exactly that! I would compare it to an O-zone crash but more gentle, trashy but still smooth.
If you're looking for a high volume cymbal that cuts through any mix, you may want to look into other similar fx-cymbals. But for me, playing both heavier and lighter music at a lot of different volume levels, this cymbal has been great as a bright, dynamic and smooth crash cymbal. Looks really nice too!
