Dynamic shading in classical trumpet concerts, such as Johann Nepomuk Hummel - Trumpet Concerto in Eb Major or Haydn's Trumpet Concerto in Eb major, gives players the flexibility to perform a piece of music with a wide range of tonal quality. Baroque concerts such as Johann Fasch - Trumpet Concerto in D major or Carlo Tessarini - Sonata in D and others can be played on this trumpet with a clear and brilliant tone, although they are mostly presented on piccolo trumpets.
