Nicely made, can't really compare them to much else as these are the first "real" monitors Ive had. Lots of mid range and high end, so they sound pretty "bad", but when you've got your mix sounding balanced on these they seem to translate pretty well to other systems (albeit you need to learn to not cut too much mid and hgh freqs) . I've heard you need to run monitors in and I haven't used them that much at any sort of significant volume. Maybe they get less harsh after a bit of heavy use.
One infuriating design decision was putting the power switches on the back when they should have made the little yamaha badge on the front that lights up a power switch instead. Other than that I have no complaints. And the white ones look way cooler.

Supersnygga!
Köpte dessa till min hemmastudio och måste säga att de är väldigt läckra! Vit färg ser otroligt lyxigt ut och hantverket är på topp. Ljudet är bra om än lite basfattigt.

Cool and unique!
These are some cool monitors! Sounds really good for their size, but somewhat lacking in the lower sub-bass area.

I listen to my Music in different spekaers or hedphones to get a wide perspective on my mixing, and i think the clear sound in these helps me notice many detailes in the sounds. Therefore i like them.
The only thing i miss sometimes is that they dont have very much base in the sound. Therefore i sometimes think i should have gone for a nice 2.1 or 5.1 system instead.
I like the materials they are made of, they make a solid inpression and shure look good too!
