Great value for the money
I'm using four of these cameras to shoot drum videos, mounted around my kit.
They work well for recording at 60 fps full HD provided they get enough light, otherwise the framerate drops significantly. The built-in light is probably good enough when mounted close to the subject, but shooting from a distance you most likely need more light.
Be aware that they request more bandwidth than they actually need for compressed (MJPEG) video, so it is difficult to run more than two on the same computer. Since I needed four I solved this by running Linux and hacked the driver to only request minimum bandwith. That's of course not an option for everyone.
I haven't recorded with any sound so can't review that. While monitoring it does look like they pick up sound well, but I can't say anything about the quality.
The mount thread is standard size for most stands, otherwise a simple adapter will do the trick. I'm using ceiling and wall mounted arms to avoid vibrations from my drum kit, since the cameras are very light and will shake easily and lose focus. The mounting arm is a bit flimsy, so to mount in other ways than upright you need something to hold them still (I just use a rubber band). Again, not a problem if used ontop of a monitor.
