Top quality - powerful sound
jackkafe 14.05.2022
It took some more hours of testings for me, to fall in love with this pedal. At first, I couldn't get the sound I had imagined (didn't want to bother with eq and voice knobs so much). Even thought I should not keep it. Fortunately, I decided to dig in the eq and "voice" settings. Every micro adjustments you make, can give you completely different eq and sound results, of top quality. It can also get really loud, but you can find the sweet spot. Tried it with mexico hss strat, both on transistor and tube amps. Sounds great with humbuckers, with single coils you can also get the sound you'd always dream to have, just have to work with the eq a little more, but I think that it's not easy to get such fine results with single coils with any drive-distortion pedal anyway. I have also put a SHOverdrive in front, got 3 basic sounds, and really exciting results. I have to mention, even when you push the gain over 12 o'clock (lots of gain), you will always be able to hear your guitar's sound character. Cannot realy explain it with words, but I have to say I'm really happy. The price is high enough, but I'm happy I got this one. Very versatile, just use all of the knobs and maybe you'll find your sound paradise. Thanks Thomann for the excelent services.
