Good overall microphone

I got the balanced pair, as I planned to use these for overheads primarily for drums, but also for classical ensembles, such as a choir.

I found that these were not the best microphones for drum overheads. They are super bright, and though one would expect that to work with cymbals, I felt it was too much, even for metal. I now use them as a hihat and ride microphones, which worked a lot better. They are still super bright, but as you usually do not blend in those channels a lot, that is only a good thing.

I'm happy I have them in my arsenal, since I found a use for them.
