This DI-box is really worth the money all tough it's not very cheap. Really good for those bass players that tend to really hit the strings hard. Has all features needed for a good DI-box; pad, phase, ground lift and lo-cut. It also features a really handy feature that lets you merge a stereo signal to a mono out. this feature is really good to have at hand when you're short on channels but still like to have the tonal character of, for example, a stereo stage piano.
When it comes to the sound quality of the DI-box, there isn't a lot more to ask for. It delivers clear sound almost no matter how hot the signal is. And for the moments you might clip the signal, you always have the 15 dB pad. I have the Klark Teknik DN100 and DN200 since before, and while they are very good in there price range, this is in my opinion really unbeatable when it comes to tapping really hot signals without clipping the internal circuits of the box.
Build quality of this product is what you expect to get when you pay 200 EUR; like a tank. All metal (thick metal) housing and all the switches are recessed so they don't break. I work at a company which has a couple dozens of these and there is never any problem with breaking or bad connections.
This box is a bit on the expensive side, but on the other hand, you really get what you pay for and you'll probably be able to keep this thing for a really long time. I'd recommend this especially for bassists that likes to bring their own gear to the site, and for all sound techs that need a good reliable box that sounds the way it's supposed to!
