My go-to channel strip
Along with Ozone 10, iZotope has released another real winner with Neutron 4. The machine learning/AI (Assistant View) can provide a valid starting point for audio mixers from novice to expert but the breadth and the depth of the modules (sculptor, equalizer, 2 compressors, exciter, gate, transient shaper, and unmask) have made Neutron my go-to channel strip on almost every kind of track. The UI and the display offer extremely useful information but, as we all know, it's the sound that matters and, to my ear, Neutron delivers. The only thing I would ask of iZotope is please consider integration with a control surface like Console 1 or develop your own.
