It’s an amazing guitar!
I got it in a perfect condition, paint job spotless and it took only 3 days for it to arrive to me (to sweden) which was unexpected. Really great looking guitar and it plays smoothly.
Pros:
-nice body and lovely paint job the metallic finish is just amazing I could look at it for hours.
-light weight compared to my other harley benton St-20HSS.
-the ability to swith between pickups and spliting them is useful and it works great.
-no noise from the humbuckers, no “humming” and they sound okay (not too much of an upgrade from my ST-20HSS tho and I’ll get to that later)but if this will be you FIRST guitar then I highly recommend it.
-got it with really low action which is always a plus (intonation wasn’t right tho but it was playable out of the box)
-no sharp edges for the frets (more on that)
-the toners do their job, no slipping, no issues, they hold well.
-basically in a playable state right out of the box
-slim neck profile that feels great to play on!
CONS:
-frets not polished.
-fretboard dry as a bone.
- Both E strings are too close to the edge of the fretboard which cause them to just fly off of the fretboard.
-the pickups, good sounding but no sustain, which is reallllyyyy sad.
All and all it’s an amazing guitar, as a first guitar it is great to have.
I strongly recommend it.
Note: as said. both E strings are too close to the edge which can make it super annoying, so either change the nut. Or try and live with it :-)
