Quite nice - but there are issues
I bought this guitar mainly because of the stainless frets. Along came a lower end Floyd Rose unit and Grover tuners.
My guitar sounds well at bedroom level but turning up the volume results in uncontrolled squealing feedback. Impossible to play in a band with this guitar.
I will have to fix this squealing noise in the guitar on my own cost since I don't want to send it back to Thomann for service (I have thrown away the box and don't know how to send it in a decent parkage).
As the reviews say, the frets were very scratchy when the guitar arrived but after playing a while it gradually went better.
The tremolo arm is just impossible to tighten enough to get rid of a ratteling gap without tightening it to very stiff (which is hard to do by hand at all). Thomann sent me a replacement arm with the same features.
A tip regarding the tremoloarm - it can be replaced with Floyd Rose Push-In Style Tremolo Arm - Article number: 559709 at Thomann.
Thomanns guitar experts told me it would not fit but I bought it on my own expense and it fitted right in. A super product, making the whammy bar so much smoother.
The paint on the neck is kind of laying on top of the wood, has not sunk into the wood and is coming off on a coupe of places. Thomann gave me a discount for this.
I am disappointed by the lack of flexibility on Thomann's side regarding fixing the noise. I have offered to change the pots and switch in the guitar but they will not send replacement parts (I have already switched the pickups but the problem remains).
However, looking away from these flaws I think the guitar is nice to play, it is fairly resonant and it has a very nice shape on the neck. Thin and fast. Now it is up to me to fix it so I can play with it for real.
