As other reviewers pointed out, this is not a method but a list of tabbed songs. The book has one page of advice on which fingers to use to play this style, but this is not enough for the starters.
If you are beginner in finger picking, you'll have some difficulty breaking down the chords and the rhythm, but you can still do it if you insist.
A bit on the negative side is the absence of a helping CD; so you can listen to the songs from the record/internet and figure them out.
A good list of blues songs to add to your repertoire if you like accoustic blues, even if the book's approach is not too friendly at first sight.
