I bought this bass in order to get a deeper foundation within my music which is towards the classical direction. I'm a self-learned cellist and that is the only reference I have towards this instrument. I have also only owned it for about a month now, and these classical instruments made out of wood just get better with time. However, what I can say so far is that it arrived safely with the soundpost on place. The adjustment was easy then it was just to start playing. The strings that came with the instrument is rather bad though - hard to play and not suitable for arco at all. But I just recently changed these to Belcanto strings by Thomastik and wow, the result is currently just amazing and I could play this instrument for hours and hours. The instrument is beautifully varnished - the only thing I can complain about is a few hairs that got stuck from the oil-pencils - but well, then I'm really harsh in my critique.
I spent a good time before deciding, and the choice finally fell on this one - and I'm really happy it did.
