Overall it's a pretty cool idea to spice up live performance, but they are cheap for a reason.
They are supplied with batteries inside the drumsticks, and since there is no way to turn them off batteries were already dead. I switched the batteries, and it was quite diffucult due to a narrow hole to put the batteries in and a twisted spring to keep the batteries connected. After that I discovered that one of four drumsticks I bought wouldn't turn off and it is constantly lit, so it is likely that I will have to go through a nightmare of changing batteries again soon.
