These are highly durable Dunlop picks. They are a wider across than standard picks, which I found gave them a clumsy feeling. I generally use thick picks (3.0), but they are not as wide across as these. The pointed tip was an interesting feature, but did not notice a difference in speed or attack potential from that. After about a year using them off and on I prefer the comparable 1.14 Dunlop Delrin 1.14 picks over these or any pick with this thickness. Naturally, the Delrin picks wear down much more quickly than these Tortex III picks, which are quite durable. They are worth trying if you find standard Dunlop picks too small, or if you can find some other advantage from them in your playing.
