DPA DAD6001-BC

This is essential for connecting DPA headset mics. The build quality is impeccable as is everything with DPA. The belt clip comes unattached and there is no instruction to attach it (unscrew the black plastic cap and let the placeholder ring fall out then slide it in). Because the belt clip has tension it is a bit tricky to reattach the cap. I worried I might damage the exposed electronics. Once assembled it works like a charm. Tip: when screwing on the adaptor, turn the adaptor, not the cable.

I tried to work around paying the high price of these by buying imitations but they naturally failed. These are expensive but very durable.

Have it for years and never had a problem with it.

The DPA DAD6001 was perfect in converting my microdot to an XLR. I have the binaural headphones so this XLR phantom power adapter makes it easy to go into my mixpre 3.

Does what it says very well. You can use your DPA mic with any XLR device. I use it to connect a DPA d:fine to a Zoom H4n.
