Excellent, flexible mute for plunger work
I planned to use this only together with a plunger, when playing big band solos. It works nicely, and sounds like the old-fashioned H&B Pixie mute. Except, this one plays in tune!
In fact, it is so well in tune and sounds so good, that I have completely stopped using my DW aluminium straight, because this sounds just the same and takes less space in my bag.
The fit and finish is perfect, like you would expect from Best Brass.
The only complaint I have is the price, which is a little steep.
