If one are after the legendary sound of the 70?s and 80?s this is the best path to take,..I once owned and played Minimoog Model D from 1978, until i lost it ina tragically happening,..in 97?Now! It is late 2020 and my dreams came true to touch the sound and connect with a real Analog instrument again that really nails the fat, gritty, silky sound of The Mini. I really recommend The Poly D,...ohh i forgot, it got all midi you need, it is monophonic, paraphonic, and 4 voice Polyphonic,..wich means it can sounds like a MemmoryMoog alike when you need it so,....well built metal and wood,..no plastic,..Love it, Thank you Thomann, Thank You Uli Behringer... Now Go and get a classic ;D

Fantastisk synth. Skulle utan tvekan kunnat kosta dubbelt. Gedigen kvalite i en vacker ” möbel”. Kanske ngt svårhanterad men med lite träning så fungerar det. Fyller inte funktionen som ”stage stringmachine”, men då finns ju Behringer Vocoder 340 som komplement.

Great monster of a synth

This is by far my favourite subtractive synth. The improvements made by Behringer are awesome. Poly Glide - Yes. Round robin - Yes. Sequencer - Yes. Aftertouch - Yes. Juno style chorus - Yes. Distortion - Yes.
Well built and looks great this synth can and will deliver what you need and more. From screaming mono leads to wonderful soft polyphonic pads it sounds great.
Only downside is that the polyphony kind of wonks up the envelope unless you press all notes simultaneously. If you press 3 notes and then the fourth the trigger will be instant regardless of envelope setting. But that is what multitracking was invented for ;-)

For the price, SENSATIONAL!!!
Smaller than the original, but sounds like the real deal!
Not easy to use, if you are a beginner on the Model D you need to see tutorials on youtube, that really helps.
