This is probably the only mixer in this price class that has this amount of features.
- Being able to change the routing at all is a huge plus. The options are sane, if somewhat confusing. The majority what I've wanted to do so far has been possible to set up.
- Multiple channels in *and* out over USB is very nice. The two modes make sense.
- Being able to send two different applications to the mixer and have them on two different faders is fantastic. For recreation, I can have some music on one and a game on the other.
- Physical faders makes this usable for small live situations.
- Fully parametric 3-band EQ on all channels and fully parametric *9-band* EQ on mains and aux are a godsend.
There are some drawbacks:
- The channel compressor is very basic. I get that the target audience for this thing will be fine with a single knob, but being able to set attack and release would be very nice.
- Controlling the mixer without the app is uncomfortable, and some features are just not available.
- The indication lights for out-of-position faders are not particularly visible and can easily be missed. I would like to have the indication be more clear in some way. When working fast, such as in live situations, I usually tend towards not working with the physical faders at all to avoid confusion. Instead I do everything through the app, and later on work the faders for calm and granular control.
