Great kick microphone!
This is a great microphone for kickdrum! The 4 different sound characters makes it a chameleon in recording situations. It delivers old school, modern, classic or neutral sounds. Combine that with proper mic placement know how and a decent drummer and you're set!
But there are a couple of drawbacks.
I record demos for different bands with my portable studio and the mic's "bulkyness" can be a problem for placement when the hole in the front drum head is too small. Since time is money there are often compromisses in the placement.
The other thing is the mount that i think could wear out in time. Not shure yet and i have not experienced any problems since i bought the mic.
All in all this is a really good mic and if you can afford it, go for it!
