I produce, mix and master music, anything from EDM to Metal, and I upgraded to these from the M-audio Bx5's. I use them in a slightly treated room which I have also complemented with Sonarworks for room/monitor correction. For the price I think it is hard to beat these, the m-audio's served me well but the Adam's have a much clearer midrange, the highs are more defined yet also more silky. Overall the clarity is just greater, which make them more suitable for mixing/mastering. I went for the 5 inch model as I am not a very large room and didn't want the bass to go out of control. All in all very pleased with them!
