I like this guitar very much.
It is not a "real" classical guitar, and under optimal conditions the acoustic sound of an high-end classical guitar (which costs a lot more than this one) is better. However, if you have to amplify your sound or to record it, this is A LOT better. When I record using my home equipment, the sound of my classical guitar is not nearly as good as the sound I get from the Yamaha silent. Maybe using expensive studio equipment this would be different, but in any case the Yamaha silent gives you an excellent sound with a very simple setup.
Of course, it is very useful also for practicing: you hear the sound from the strings so that you can practice even without headphones, but with no resonating body you can practice for hours as long as you close the door of your room, and nobody in the house will complain.
I choose the version with 50mm neck width (the "classical" size is 52mm), but the difference is minimal and is only positive - I have no problems even with difficult positions of the left hand. A minor problem is the weak strap attachment.
