Those strings do really revive my old Fender CD-60 acoustic guitar. Even though I know it’s a beginner guitar, those strings do their thing and make my guitar sound better than ever. I really did tried other strings like <insert big name brand> but Thomastik outshines them all.
The ring you get and the sustain is quite phenomenal and they’re not strident in the highs nor muddy in the bass, quite the opposite. Love the midrange that you get from them and they do last really long as I play both finger-style and strumming. The main difference I have first noticed is that, even after losing that string-like freshness they’ve got in the very first weeks of playing, you still can play finger-style for example and still get great clarity from them without sounding a little off or unclear.
The string tension is comfortable and, paradoxically, sound quite equivalent to the 12’s.
I highly recommend them and, for me from now on I will use only Thomastik on my guitars, whether acoustic or electric l.
