I run a small PA and lighting business and corporate with many different bands and companies. Therefore it is very thomann important to have good equipment, especially when you have many different locations on tour.
Before I tried the Tesa Tape for marking my light and sound boards I was using white tapes by cheaper companies. To sum it up: These tapes were so bad to read in the darkness of a show. And the cable labeling on stage was even worse.
Then I came up with the Tesa. Before the band came in I cabled the whole stage, marking all cables with their input channel. Therefore I was using a big dark pen. When the Band actually arrived I had them cabled in 5 minutes without any issues. The location itself was a pub with very dark lights. So actually the stage is quite dark as well.
I also used this tapes on all kinds of production desks. No matter if you want to mark a lighting desk or a sound desk. I even get asked by other PA professionals which tape I use, because if you wanted you could even see markings miles away :)
One of the best things is that you can buy the tape in different colors. Thumps Up!
