Great in my strat
I have installed these pickups in my strat. It was a single coil SSS configuration strat and I have converted it to HH.
It sounds great, the pickups sound great! The sound is full and the output is higher. Now it sounds like a guitar used for classic rock, even though the guitar is not a LP model.
I enjoyed using these pickups with my amp with a ceramic magnet speaker and I enjoy them more now that I have changed the speaker to an alnico one.
These pickups do sound great, they have the classic sound and just enough "something" to make them special.
But of course different ears different tastes, so try them for yourself before you decide.

this is exactly what I was searching for. Swapped 490R and 490T with these. The result was improved tone and overall better (in my opinion) performance sounwise for classic rock
