PERANTUCCI PT88+
CONSTRUCTION AND FEEL: The mouthpiece is heavy. It has deep and large cup. Rim has round profile and so it feels nice, comfortable and blows freely.
TONE AND SOUND: Dynamics and range are so easy to control and manage on this mouthpiece. Tone is full and deep but not beastly bassy so it is suited for both symphonic and brass bands. Smooth full tones and edgy 8ts and 16ts are easy to switch between.
MY EXPERIENCE: i use it on 5/4BB tuba 470mm bell, 20mm bore and 5/4 BB helicon 500mm bell, 20mm bore, both rotary valves. It is very nice and full on both of them. Endurance is good because of rounded rim. Can't wait for Chrismas Carols ... yuhuuu
Try it and keep it...thank me later :P
P.S: it rips like a big horn should and pedal tones are big
