Harley Benton Coated Electric Guitar 009

I bought these strings for my practice guitars, as I only like to play on coated and Elixirs are way too expensive to squander them on daily exercises and routine. Squander?! Ha! These HBs are a blast and the sound difference is really small to my ears and any differences can be mitigated by moving a few knobs on the eq.
However, there is a slightly off-putting sensation on the wounded strings on the first touch, as they felt...rather sandy. That sensation went away after 15-20 min of playing. Now they are smooth as butter and sliding the finger over them is super easy and fast.
I will be restocking in the dozens soon. The price is unbeatable and the quality is excellent.
