I was considering this amp for a long time. I was very stuck on whether to go for this 15w version or the 40w one which also has additional noise gate control.
Ultimately, I wanted something that could handle gigs while also being quiet and small enough to fit at home.
The only point it loses in handling, is for a 15w amp, it's quite big and heavy, however that is all I can really give it grief for.
It sounds tremendous. It has a very warm tasty tone on both channel 1 (clean) and channel 2 (overdrive). The 3-band EQ is quite expressive so you can really dial your tone in nicely.
In terms of volume, it has a great feature to reduce the wattage to 4 watts, and even still, it has a lot of kick.
the build is sturdy and feels like it will last me a long time. I would rather the headphone jack in it was a 1/4 inch jack as most of my headphones are set up for that, but the smaller 3.5 is also substantial.
Overall, I love it and would recommend it to anyone. It is a great little work horse suitable for many occasions and doesn't get overly complicated.
