First the PROs:
Thomann delivery time exceptional, I got the guitar in less than a week. Guitar looks very good, the sound is very rich, full of medium and bass, setup is ok, quite some glitches at finishing but nothing to worry....but...unfortunately, the CONS:
The guitar has several technical problems. The main 2 are:
- very pronounced and disturbing fret buzz in 1st and 8th fret. IF i strum not very strong, but medium, it is very unpleasant during single notes playing, less inside chords
- first E string does not sound amplified at the same level with the rest. It's bearly audible in context, almost as if it's a problem with the piezo or something. It;s strange to strum a chord and 1st string to be bearly audible
- also, I don't understand how it is supposed to change the battery fast in case of an emergency drop out. You must loose all the chords, stick your hand inside , pull out that little velcro pocket, open it, take battery out, through the strings , replace it and there again, torment to put it again in its place. I know, this is not a fault, but still I found it very unusual and hard to operate inside the guitar body
If you want to but it, try to test the guitar amplified and see if this first string issue is present. And also if fret buzz is constant/present in your case
PS: I somehow thought this Masterbuilt Frontier is made in USA, but no, it is Indonesia... another little disappointment
