it's a VOX, a classic staple amplifier. It's great sounding, used on all types of music over the decades.
I have it for almost 3 years now! and here my two cents:
-It's more versatile than I thought.
-If you run it hot and loud you're gonna run through tubes.
-It weighs a ton and you won't get used to it.
-The Chinese build quality is bad, expect issues, both esthetically and electrically. Mine came back from the second trip to the warranty doctor a week ago.
-You're paying more for the products historic tone than for the quality.
I still love the amp, however I do think there are better options either higher end (handwired) VOX's or other brands making ac30 style amps with better VOX tone than this.
You might get a good one, but after 2 trips to the warranty doctor, and the cost of tube maintenance due to my type of usage it's now a "home amplifier for pleasure", rather than my main amp, the hassle and costs were just too high for me.
