Com o intuito de fazer uma limpeza a fundo ao circuito eléctrico de um Marshall valvestate vs 212, optei também por substituir o válvula original.
Optei por adquirir e comparar duas válvulas:
• Sovtek 12 AX7 WA
• TAD JJ ECC83S/12AX7 Tube
A Sovtek 12 AX7 WA funciona bem neste amplificador, tem um som agradável (boa distorção), no entanto, não gostei do som que ela faz ao ligar o amplificador, esteja o volume alto ou baixo ela dá um estalo forte. Também, gera um muito ligeiro ruído de fundo quando comparada com a TAD JJ ECC83S/12AX7 Tube.
A TAD JJ ECC83S/12AX7 Tube, é mais silenciosa com ruídos de fundo e ao ligar não dá estalos.
À parte de ruídos e estalos, na minha opinião para o Marshall valvestate vs 212, a Sovtek 12 AX7 WA tem um som ligeiramente melhor na distorção.
A TAD JJ ECC83S/12AX7 Tube tem um som ligeiramente melhor no canal limpo.
Optei por utilizar a A TAD JJ ECC83S/12AX7 Tube, uma vez que utilizo-o principalmente no canal limpo.
Nota: para quem tem amplificadores mais antigos, que fazem ruídos fora do normal, deixo um conselho, desmontem o amplificador, substituam as válvulas, e joguem em cima das placas spray de limpeza de contactos eléctricos.
O Marshall valvestate vs 212 que tenho desde 98/99, comprado original, fazia já muitos ruídos (nunca tinha sido limpo/aberto), em Dez de 2019, uma limpeza e substituição da válvula fez-o voltar a década de 90, silencioso e amoroso, talvez, atrevo-me a dizer, mais silencioso que com a válvula original da philips.
