Very useful.
Has a great effect in most situations in which you are using a microphone. Really helps with hearing yourself at all in a difficult monitoring situation and with hearing subtleties of your tone in a quieter gig.
Also, it helps a little with feedback.
My only complaint is the price. It is, after all, only a bit of plastic with a hole and a clip. Worth it for the effect it has, but might be worth trying to make your own.

great piece of kit, I'm using it for trumpet in a rock band, no in ears so relying on monitor and this soundback. Excellent
