Superb
Wonderful sounding and a great addition to my percussion set up. Great staccato accents and when incorporated withing other rhythmic patterns it sings with its own voice. For stand alone rhythms it is so versatile. Very happy I purchased this as it has become invaluable and added a new sonic palette to my playing.

Timpani as a hand perc
I had a great expectations on this one. The sound is ok, but not as good as expected. The reason might be that it doesn't have a full body sound. You have to creative to get some sounds from it, but then it's not timpani anymore :-)
